News - 2009 Kite Review - Flexifoil Ion Four 2009 and Flexifoil Neutron 09 Review

Tried the Flexifoil Ion 4 yet? Well if not why not, the kite is awesome. With a mass of features, hybrid depower with C kite pull, 6 strut design keeping the centre of the kite clean, the best hybrid kite we've had the honour to fly, even better than the Ion3 which is very hard to beat. The Flexifoil Ion 3 was the dogs, basically the Flexifoil Ion has got better and the Ion 4 is just the dogs bxxlox. Whilst everyone else was at the mercy of the gusty and under/over powered conditions in April '09 in Felixstowe near Ipswich the 12.5m Flexifoil Ion Four was extreme. Going upwind effortlessly with lots of grunt when others were going downwind in the lulls or getting over powered in the peaks, the Flexifoil Ion4 did it all. At 87KG I've not experienced a kite like it and with a slightly higher aspect than the Ion Three and more power it suits my riding style better. The 12.5M Flexifoil Ion4 performed so sweet for it's size, huge lift, fast turning, stable, controllable and in the conditions that was amazing. The build quality is also second to none as you would expect from a Flexi with slightly fatter wingtips and stiffer leading edge for more rigidity. The Ion 4 has reinforcement in the right places however has been weight reduced this year, upgraded E-Z one pump system, neoprene encased air clamps, wingtip dump valve, higher power and more grunt than last years Ion3, great looks, the choice of 4 line freeride or 5 line freestyle configurations. The Flexifoil Ion4 kite comes with an excellent upgraded bar and safety system which is great, softer bar knurling, swivel chicken loop, landing handle on both sides of the bar and tidier de-power strap plus more. The Flexifoil Neutron 09 on the other hand is the NEW all rounder kite from Flexi and is aimed at beginners/intermediates - it flies extremely well, very stable and easy to relaunch. The Neutron 2009 is a brilliant kite and best suited for freeride cruising and those just starting out, give the Flexifoil Neutron 09 a try today. News - BKSA Kitesurfing Championships 2009

The British Kite Surfing Association Championships 2009 tour starts in April 2009, BKSA National Freestyle Tour 09

Now in its 9th year the BKSA tour dates are as follows-

3 Super size KITEIVAL events with 4 National Titles being run at the same Venue - these will be Swansea, Blackpool and Redcar

3 Freestyle Kitesurfing
3 Course Racing Kitesurfing
3 Freestyle Kitelandboarding
3 Freestyle Kitebuggy

4 Additional Kitesurf Freestyle (which count to overall title)

News - 2009 kitesurfing lessons kicked off in March

Kitesurfing lessons with Kite Surf East Anglia affiliated Instructors* started in March 2009, book now to secure your place to ensure that you're not dissapointed.
